Demonstration against the BNP Conference, Saturday November 17

Venue: In front of New Kimberley Hotel, 585-589 New South Promenade, Blackpool, FY4 1NQ
Date: Saturday November 17, 2007
Time: 12:00 (noon)

The British National Party (BNP) is holding its conference in Blackpool on November 17/18.

Local people including councillors, hotels, trades unions, residents, students and anti-fascist groups have condemned the BNP for attempting to hold its conference here for the second time.

The demonstration has been called by North West Region Unite Against Fascism, the Lancashire Association of Trades Union Councils and the Blackpool and Fylde College Students Union.

You are urged to join the demonstration to show your opposition to the BNP and its politics of race hate, division and discrimination. We must show that there is a united opposition to the BNP and ensure that Blackpool is a fascist-free area. We call on all those who oppose fascism to mobilise and attend this protest.
